Terms and conditions

All garments and goods housed by Milly Sleeping are made locally by designers from Australia and New Zealand; this means that almost all of our garments are proudly made in Australia or New Zealand, and in exceptional cases where the Australian designer is living and working overseas, the garments are made in the designers' local city (if not their live-in studio)! The quality of Milly Sleeping's wares is of utmost importance.

Shopping in store :

Milly Sleeping can accept payments via EFT, and Visa, Mastercard and American Express credit cards.

We trust that you will treasure your Milly Sleeping purchase but please keep the receipt and tags presented to you with your selection/s at the time of sale. If you change your mind, credit or exchange may only be offered upon presentation of the receipt and the item – unused and in the condition in which it was sold to you - within 14 days of the date of sale.

In the unlikely event that your Milly Sleeping purchase does not meet expectation, care will be taken to determine the item’s fitness for purpose. A refund may only be offered where the product is agreed to be faulty, and repair or replacement cannot be arranged.

Please note that we cannot accept the return of sale items for exchange, credit or refund.

Layby :

Milly Sleeping offers a layby service to its clients. A minimum deposit of 20% of the total cost or $30 - whichever is the greater - is required; thereafter goods will be held for up to six weeks, with instalments to be paid to Milly Sleeping fortnightly (either in person or by phone). Please note that layby items are not eligible for return, and if a layby is cancelled within the six week period, a cancellation fee equal to the minimum deposit will apply. Any goods held for extended periods at the client’s request will attract an additional fee if cancelled.

Milly Sleeping’s online facilities operate courtesy of Portable Shops, with merchant services provided by PaypalIn order for your first selection to be processed securely, you will be asked to start an account with Paypal (if you haven't already)... Be reassured that it will take just a few minutes for you to obtain your account, and this will enable you make swift, safe transactions via many sites including Milly Sleeping's own. Milly Sleeping guarantees that it will do its utmost to provide a prompt, reliable and ethical service to you, but it cannot be held responsible for any actions made by third parties. Before making your selection at our e-shop, you may wish to carefully read the information provided by PayPal to ensure that you understand and accept their policies, terms and conditions.

All items in Milly Sleeping’s e-shop are represented as accurately as possible. More information and measurements pertaining to individual items can be provided upon request.

All prices are listed in Australian dollars and include GST.

Processing and shipping ...

All orders will be confirmed by email, and processed within two working days. Milly Sleeping will notify each customer when their item is in the mail.

Within Australia, shipping is currently FREE for purchases of $50 and above. Orders will be sent via Australia Post Express envelopes unless otherwise arranged. At the request of the customer, or for purchases over $300, items will be sent by Registered Express, and a recipient’s signature will be required at the point of delivery.

For international clients, items are posted by registered airmail and will incur a non-refundable charge of $10 AUD. Delivery time is approximately 5-10 days, although this estimate will vary depending on the destination and time of year.

Please note that Milly Sleeping cannot make any guarantee regarding delivery times.

Exchange & return of goods purchased at our e-shop (or by phone) ...

Milly Sleeping understands the uncertainties involved in purchasing our remarkable garments online; to ensure that the risk for you is minimised, we are happy to address your specific queries and may provide more images or information regarding sizing, fit, fabric etc.

All items are checked to ensure they meet our standards of high quality, and they are packed carefully for shipping. Upon receipt of your purchase, if the item does not meet your expectation, you must contact Milly Sleeping as soon as possible - no later than 10 days from the date of delivery (within Australia) or twenty-one days (International). Contact may be via email (leah@millysleeping.com) or telephone (61 3 9347 1333).

We will be happy to discuss your options, and will issue you with an Exchange Number (EN) or a Refund Number (RN). Items must be returned within 7 days of the issue of this number, unused and in original condition, with all tags still attached.

Milly Sleeping will notify you when the returning item has arrived, and promptly process an exchange (subject to item availability) or refund (excluding non-refundable postage). Postage for returning items will be paid by the purchaser. In case of exchange, Milly Sleeping will pay postage for one replacement item.

Please note that some sale items may not be eligible for return – this will be indicated within the individual item’s description. Milly Sleeping reserves the right to cancel any order. In doing so, Milly Sleeping will notify the client immediately and any monies paid will be refunded by the same mode as payment.
